Course Fees & Co-Funding Opportunities
Self-financed participants:
Course fees total 620 Euro, payable by bank transfer after confirmation of acceptance onto the course. We are unfortunately unable to accept payments by credit card.
Co-funding awards:
You are eligible for a co-funding award if one of the following criteria applies to you:
- You are a (non-German) alumnus/alumna of a German institution of higher education. This means you must have studied, carried out research or worked at a German institution of higher education for at least three months.
- You are a holder of a sur-place scholarship from a German institution. That means you have received a scholarship provided by a German organization for studying at a university or other institution of higher education in your home country or in a third country.
Special Conditions apply for the course “Conflict Management and Conflict Transformation”.
We are glad to offer 1-2 co-funding awards to applicants from conflict areas, even if they are not alumni of a German university/ institute of higher education.
Please note:
- All applicants must fill in the online application form.
- You may apply for all training courses but successful applicants will be granted co-funding for only one or a maximum of two consecutive courses.
- The co-funding covers part of your travel expenses and includes a daily allowance for accommodation and food.
- The decision on co-funding and self-payment applications is taken by SLE TRAINING.
- In order to avoid double funding, if you are going to receive a scholarship from a German organization during your participation in one of the SLE TRAINING course(s) in 2016 you are not permitted to apply for co-funding.
- You will be notified by the end of May 2016 if you have been granted a co-funding award or put on the waiting list.
SLE TRAINING has no funds of its own to support applicants who are not eligible for a co-funding award as described above. If the co-funding conditions do not apply to you, please use the application form for self-payment.
If you need funding but do not fulfil the co-funding criteria listed above, you may try to find funding from your university/organization, local/international foundations or German enterprises/ organizations in your country. You can also check the DAAD scholarship data base.
